Kueh Salat Making Session
Kueh Salat – traditional two-layer dessert: Glutinous rice bottom layer: Tinted with blue pea extract. Pandan custard top layer: Made with coconut milk and eggs.
Duration: Total approx 3 hours.

WHAT YOU LEARN
Understanding the theory, ingredients and learn the skills and technique in making the Nonya Kueh Salat. Small class size. Individual Hands-on.
- Introducing the different ingredients used in making this kueh.
- How to handle the glutinous rice, blue-peas flowers and the flour used for the batter.
- Knowing the important in temperature while steaming Kueh Salat.
- Bring home the Nonya snack and share with family / friends.
