Yong Tau Foo and Rice Roll – Learning both local delights serves in Hawker Centre and Chinese restaurants serving Dim Sum.
100% hands-on, and participants must feel comfortable handling whole fish.
Duration: Total approx 4 hours
WHAT YOU LEARN
Understanding the theory, ingredients and learn the skills and technique in making fish paste and convert to delicious Yong Tau Foo, plus combination of plain Rice Roll made from scratch. Individual Hands-on. Small Class Size.
- Handling of Whole Fish to retrieve the paste.
- Making of Fish paste for the filling of the Yong Tau Foo. No MSG.
- Prepare the Bean Curd, Fried Bean curd and Eggplant / bittergourd.
- Fill in the fish paste and steam.
- Prepare the ingredients for Rice Roll.
- Steam plain Rice Roll with Spring Onion.
- Consume while is hot or bring home to share with family and friends.
