Hong Kong Egg Tarts Hands-on Baking Class

Egg Tarts Baking Class – Short Crust Cookies dough and Dim Sum Flaky dough.

It is a kind of custard tart found in Cantonese cuisine,  consists of an outer pastry crust filled with egg custard. In Honh Kong, they are often served at dim sum restaurants and tea store.

WHAT YOU LEARN

Understanding the theory, ingredients and learn the skills and technique in making the tart shell and two different kinds of egg custard filling

  • Knead and Shape the crust according to the tart case.
  • Prepare two types of egg fillings
  • Assembly of the tart shells and filling before baking.
  • Learn to adjust the oven temperature to ensure it does not overcooked
  • Bring home all the 2 different kinds of egg tarts made in class.
